Mobile Messaging is Growing by email and IM
Mobile messaging industry CAGR growth to reach 6.4 percent. One reason is the need of people to email and instant messaging. In fact, Strategy Analytics analyst states, between 2008 to 2013, mobile messaging will generate revenue up to U.S. $ 130 billion.
Reporting via Cellular News, the number of mobile users currently reached 1 billion to stimulate the growth of SMS traffic and revenue.
The cause of this among other things thanks to rampant cell phone with Qwerty keyboard which also supports the ease of doing sending email and IM.
Senior Analyst from Strategy Analytics added, this growth occurred generally in the telecommunications market in the United States and several developing countries.
